The Day:
Following a year of planning and many meet ups to discuss Aly’s requirements; the day came together in a beautiful flurry of romance and pastels. Large rounded pedestal arrangements containing, White Hydrangea, a mix of Sweet Avalanche and Amnesia Roses, White Dahlias, Green Gelder Roses and a scattering of Soft Ammi Majis, softening the whole arrangement and lending a romantic feel to The Great Hall.
The Bride was a stunner in a dress from Wedded Bliss in Hythe and carried a gorgeous hand tied bouquet of David Austen “Juliette” Roses, Astilbe, Sweet Avalanche Roses, Snowflake Spray Roses and a flutter of Lime green Alchemilia, with a secret addition of a Thistle head in the ribbon as a very personal memory. Her Bridesmaids were a vision in Dusty Pink and held simple Amnesia Rose wands with trailing ribbon.
The Conservatory was pretty as a picture with tall, seemingly floating, arrangements of romantic pastels of Dahlias, Amnesia Roses, Ammi Majis and mixed foliages set on to tall glass French vases with a rose gold wire swirling inside.
Alys bouquet and a few David Austen “Juliette” Roses adorned the fabulous naked cake.
All the style and colour contributed to a fabulously romantic Day.
