The Day:
It was a very early start, loading up the vans and heading up to Chelthenham to the fabulous Sezincote House. An absolutely fabulous venue that open their doors six time a year to host weddings. The sun was shining and the house seemed almost transported from the hills of India with its gorgeous pavilion standing proud atop the house. The gardens were perfectly manicured and beautifully tended providing the most amazing backdrop for the garden marquee.
The Ceremony was held in the stunning conservatory arm that spread from the side of the house and we hung gorgeous rustic hearts on the ends of the chairs.
The Bride carried a large bouquet of rich jewel coloured roses which complimented the brides exquisite sari style wedding dress and the guests wore simple Freesia button holes.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a veritable feast, laid on by caterers from Gaylord Restaurant in Mayfair whilst we got to work decorating the marquee.
Banquet style tables filled the Marquee and we set about adorning the long tables with candelabra, moss and a flurry of vases and candles. with a brief of “bringing the outside in” we created an enchanted forest woodland scene
All the moss, bark, twinkling dinner candles and tea lights along with the subtle introduction of all the bridal flowers contributed to a Gorgeous Day. We snuck off as the guests made their way to dinner to enjoy the Indian feast in the forest.
