A fairytale ending when it all comes together…

As I mentioned in my recent post about wedding venues, one of my greatest pleasures is seeing things all come together on the wedding day for the lovely brides that come through the door of my flower shop.  From the initial ideas and inspiration through to the final touches at the wedding venue, there is so much to organise that the flowers are just one important piece in the complex puzzle of planning a wedding.

So it is immensely flattering when a bride goes to the trouble of acknowledging the important role the flowers and bouquet played on the day.  Below is some recent feedback from the lovely Gill:

Gill WeddingReturned from our ‘mini-moon’ in Venice and just wanted to drop you quick line to thank you and your team for the beautiful flowers you did for our wedding on 28th September at The Petersham.

They were absolutely stunning! The table arrangements in the crystal vases looked gorgeous and elegant, the colours were absolutely divine and my bouquet was so beautiful I couldn’t stop looking at it!

It was a real pleasure working with you, I knew immediately that you totally ‘got’ the vintage but elegant look I was going for and you managed to create it beautifully in such a challenging time frame!

Gill Wedding BouquetThe flowers were very much admired on the day (someone has since described them as “Perfect! Like Martha Stewart herself did them!” which coming from an American I think was meant as a huge compliment!!!).
